Day / Night presents over 100 Polaroids by Wing Shya taken over the last three decades.
Included in this edition are personal, never before seen daily observations and intimate portraits alongside images taken whilst working as a stills photographer for film director Wong Kar-wai. The mixture of 'in real life' and set photography blur the boundaries of what is real and not, raising questions around photography and the constructed image.
Each book captures the spontaneity in life and the subtle energy of day time and night time. The day collection conjures a purity and lightness in spirit, while the night collection purveys a darker and more mysterious mood.
